Perfect Gentleman || The Birdies' Game || Paris and Gray
Gray paced outside the door, a bouquet of crimson roses in the crook of one arm, a box of Godiva chocolates in the other. He hated this, he shouldn't have to go through it. But he did. He had to. Fuck you... he thought to himself, looking around and wondering where in the worlds the birds were hiding to watch this. He knew they were. The whole damn town was a gossip mill, that was the problem with living in such a small community. He had worked hard to keep his secrets private, but people like them refused to let it stay that way and now he had to do this to please his blackmailers. I'll kill them all after this...
Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes and counted backwards from ten, arranging his features into a perfectly polite smile. He slowly opened his eyes, clenching and unclenching his fist before he stepped forward and knocked, hoping that Paris wouldn't be home so he could just give up, say he tried, and deal with whatever happened later. This was just cruel. He knocked again, impatient, then forced his hand to drop to his side again. Be nice. Be civil.
