Headcanon

Sonny is secretly a hopeless romantic, he loves the closeness of others which is why he acquires so many 'lovers' so to speak.  He loves to go to the park because of all the sappy romance movies that have park scenes in them and he watches the happy couples go by and day dreams about going on dates there--it's his favorite place.  He also sometimes takes a day to just remember his love that's long gone, even having a small memorial for her in the park being slowly made by flowers.  He plants one every day, mirroring what she looked like, it has several different types and he's happy when he sees people picking them, because he can spend longer recreating her image.

The blonde lay on the couch of his shared apartment, he stared at the ceiling bored, he needed to do something!  Maybe watch a movie or go out, when it struck him, Io was there... he had some extra money from his hectic work day--he'd actually gotten a nice amount of tips, so he thought why not?

He got off the couch and looked around for someone, he found Io and practically beamed as he hurried over to him, "Io!  How's about me and you go on a date?"  He asked, quirking his brow.
