Lex looked out the kitchen window at the rain that was falling heavily outside. The inclement weather had forced her friends to cancel their plans for the day, but secretly Lex was perfectly fine with that. Instead, she had decided on a day in- dressed in some of her most comfortable clothes, face fresh and clear of makeup, and light hair half pulled pack in some semblance of a messy bun. The kettle she had put on the stove started to hiss, and Lex went about preparing her cup of tea, mentally planning the relaxing day she had ahead of her.
