I also go to film school and that interaction happens like all the time like PLEASE DO NOT

RIGHT???? And this other kid is constantly talking about how diversity isn’t that important, and someone will just make a comment like “wow i really liked that movie but i wish it had more people of color” or something simple like that and he will just act like we’re being ridiculous and demanding too much and its like “jfc i still liked the movie im just also able to see its faults” and like... god i love film but its tiring listening to this stuff all the time.

have you seen One Day At A Time? Because I definitely recommend that! Or A Series of Unfortunate Events, or Stranger Things if you haven't seen those! Those are all Netflix originals, so they'll be available anywhere, too :)

I’ve seen stranger things of course!! And a series of unfortunate events too. Haven’t heard about 3%, hmm. I’ll check it out. You should all check the crown :P
