#Jackedkirby -The Heads of Black Bolt!!! ⚫️⚫️⚫️ Black Bolt is one of my favorite character designs that Jack ever put forward, and that is saying a lot considering members of his own team (The Inhumans) are superbly designed... but they are a couple of really great headshots of the King of Attilan in #Issue54 of the Fantastic Four (September of 1966). ⚫️⚫️⚫️ Jack starts off with an awesome headshot of the Inhuman King on the cover alongside the four members of the FF, the other Inhumans, Black Panther and Wyatt Wingfoot. The floating head on the cover is certainly a signature design style of Kirby, but Bolt’s head on this cover stands out from the others... probably because of the massive TUNING FORK sticking out of his forehead!!!! ⚫️⚫️⚫️ The second and third heads come from an interior page of the issue... Black Bolt plans to break the barrier keeping the Inhumans trapped utilizing his powerful voice to generate a booming sound blast to help them escape. Will it work? ⚫️⚫️⚫️ I love the power conveyed in the two interior page images, Kirby utilizing Krackle and bright red colors contrasted with yellow to portray such a powerful image.
