Spider-Man vs. The Sinister Sixteen #1 (2025)

"Break my heart. Break it a thousand times. It was only ever yours to break."

Slay, King!
BACKSTORY: Kingsley was a SAS veteran, whom Sirius met while he worked at the Hog's Head as a bouncer. They got along very well, Sirius finally had someone who understood him and his experience better than anyone before. Kingsley had a shooting range and worked as a private military contractor. Sirius developed a crush on him and they hooked up a few times. Kingsley let Sirius practice shooting, sparred and worked out with him whenever his schedule allowed.

Kingsley tells his boss that they've found some leads on Sirius's whereabouts, points in a random direction, lies to all his coworkers so theyre misguided and essentially, running around like headless chickens while he's at the back, orchestrating the entire thing, probably enjoying it, then he goes to GP12 and fucks the Azkaban escapee he swore to everyone he'd find and throw back in jail.
ugh like could u imagine Sirius and Kingsley under the sheets together, Kingsley writing a letter to his boss full of fake information, false promises in his honor to bring back the convict, while the same convict is on his side, sucking on his neck?? Sirius probably gives his own input too like a beta reader?? YUMMMYYY
Starking/Blackbolt moodboard
Blackbolt works so well because they match each other’s intellect, have a sense of humour. But, most importantly, Sirius can’t intimidate or steamroll over or be cutting towards Kingsley (because he isn’t passive and would give Sirius a fight) and for me this is always the key spice that makes any Sirius ship work (the person has to be a little terrifying- Kingsley had no qualms about if he killed people in the battle of the seven Potters).
Sirius needs someone who can fight him…
Yes exactly!! Theyre such a good match, and sirius brings out a fun and silly side in Kingsley he doesnt necessarily show otherwise. I can imagine them having so much fun brainstorming kingsleys hunt for sirius.
And they are also both pragmatic in complementary ways, and basically both give up their lives for the cause (sirius with everything he does, and Kingsley going undercover as a muggle).
And sirius genuinely challenges Kingsley, whom we know to be magically powerful and so intelligent. Ugh theyre just so good together. They have soooo much potential for AUs too!!!
