Fenn’s first and only memory is finding himself in the middle of a forest, face to face with a dragon spirit mocking him, all knowledge gone apart from his own name. Lost and confused, his only hope for answers is Calidra—a woman living on the edge of the world with her partner. Forced to return home when her father dies, Calidra has put off facing her estranged mother for seven years, and she begrudgingly helps Fenn, forging papers for him so he can avoid the Queen’s Inquisitors. But her mother is the least of her worries when they discover an ancient enemy is rising again.

Eeeeeeeeeee my wonderful Tumblr Wife made the most perfect lovely art for me! Berú pouring out the mint tea for a lovely little party with Tiriel!
((So, current state of Berú's love life in 4th Age mainverse:
Married to Murazor
Engaged to Eowyn, who is also married to Murazor
Engaged to Ji Indur, who is also engaged to Ren
Planning to speak with Ren about his jealousy issues, which may lead to some kind of relationship between them as well
Nope, not confusing or complicated at all.
Came for the ridiculously adorable married-to-Murazor fluff, stayed for the fascinating multifaceted muse.
((D'awwww, thank you! The Murazor fluff is some of my favorite writing. It's nice to put two damaged villainous sorts together and let them be happy for a change, ha!
If you had to choose between Ji-Indur and Murazor, which would you choose?
I reject the entire premise of that question. I do not need to choose, and cannot conceive of a situation in which I would have to choose. Foolish Greycloak, trying to make trouble as usual.
What do you love most about Murazor?
"Mm, a very good question without a terribly simple answer. But--well, I have said in the past that I love Ji Indur because we are so different, and I love Murazor because we are so much the same. That's part of it--he understands me, understands parts of who I am and what I've been, with only a few words needed between us in explanation. Our specifics are not the same, but our generalities--oh yes. He knows, in a way few others would. From the very beginning, I knew I had nothing I'd ever need or wish to hide from him, nothing I need fear tell him. Even before I loved him, when he was only a friend--oh, what a gift that was!
Besides which--well, he's just so adorable, isn't he?"
"Hello, my lady," Murazor mumbled, voice soft as ever as he reached Beruthiel's doorstep. He knocked several times, reaching out from behind the mass of yellow flowers he was cradling. "My overabundant primroses wished to visit you today."
Berúthiel opened the door with a smile and was startled to see, not Murazor's dearly-loved face, but instead a billowing cloud of yellow blossoms seeming to float there of their own accord. She started laughing and peered around the sides of the great bouquet. "Murazor? Murazor, are you in there somewhere?" she asked, as though she could not find him.
