wasn't it sorta assumed that takane was the same age as haruka since she's in the same grade? or at least, that's what i assumed
@thekagepro24Yeah, it was!! (to me too!!)They’re definitely in the same grade regardless!!(The second novel confirmed this!)
The thing is though to our knowledge previously Ene (and especially Takane) literally never had an age listed or even referred to in most of her official profiles!Meaning if she ever did sometime in the future,it could potentially be very significant for plot things!Ene’s “age” was ALWAYS displayed as “?” or “???” in old profiles(*I do have references for these! /still compiling them though)This is also particularly significant re: Konoha’s presumed “age”because iirc in the oldest profileseven Konoha’s was displayed as “???” at timesand we know for a fact Konoha is technically immortal(confirmed by Saeru multiple times in the 2nd Manga Route)
So, here’s the thing!IF Takane actually did have a pre-August 15th birthday,(*regardless if that one was a misprint or not, she always could still have this!)THAT COULD ACTUALLY PLACE HER BEINGolder than Harukaand would also explain Haruka’s conflicting age issue?!(ALONG WITH “KONOHA’S”)
Because, it appears most characters with conflicting ages -have these because there’s ANOTHER CHARACTER IN THEIR AGE / GRADE RANGE with the actually “correct” or “closer to correct” age
i.e.:Shintaro & Ayano -- Ayano younger(correct chronological ages for her grades, incorrectly displayed “official ages”)- Shintaro older (maybe still conflicting, but “closer to correct”)
Kido, Seto, & Kano -- all officially shown as the same age (“17″) in PASH magazine July 2014- however, chronologically, it’d go- Kano (17) -> August 15th loops -> Kido (16-turning-17-post-series) ->Seto (turns 17 by the March after August 15th post-series)(*with Seto being the youngest of the trio [chronologically]if not for this issue)
Hibiya & Hiyori -- these two are v. weird becausethey’ve actually HAVE had their ages UPDATED over the years- I’m still compiling literally every mention of their ages- Hibiya confirmed in one of the early novels he’s lived in his small town for“OVER 10 YEARS”- he also confirmed in Talkers he’s taking Junior high school exams- so, all that in mind:- Hibiya: OLDER. Nov 4th birthday, which occurs after the Japanese school year begins (in April).- Hiyori: YOUNGER (chronologically). March 3rd birthday.begins the Japanese school year chonologically at age 11.- thus, Hibiya ages first come the November 4th post-August 15th.- both were often shown being listed as the exact same age*[*post-series / post-Nov. 4th,it’s often incorrectly presumed by this fandom thatHibiya would still be exact same age as Hiyorieven though Ayano is presumed to age to 18 before him]whenthey literally CAN’T BEwith birthdays on near-opposite ends of the Japanese school year.
so then we come to
Takane & Haruka- potentially have a very similar issue to Hibiya & Hiyori- Haruka’s birthday is late December 24,AFTER the Japanese school year begins.- Takane COULD POTENTIALLY have a birthday in the EARLY half of the year (January-August 15th)because she is consistently seen “grouped” / paired together with Harukadue to being in the same grade / class as himthus, if they ARE actually being displayed as “the same age” here or in the future, that could confirm“one has a conflicting age [Haruka]and the others in the [duo/group] don’t [TAKANE???]”
And of course, Momo is the sole outlier because she’s the only 10th grader.- Jin also screwed things up by having herstate her conflicting age within the script(i.e. spoken out loud)(Japanese wikipedia sites also specifically note this issue re: Momo’s)- the Japanese website definitely confirms her as a 10th grader though- yes, I can and have shown where the kanji states this- she also confirms it in the early novels iirc
Basically,At one point, one of our Japanese translators(who was native Japanese i..e ethnically Japanese / living in Japan iirc)mentioned it was possible that the “ages” were JUSTSHOWING THE AGE GAPS BETWEEN THE VARIOUS CHARACTERSIN RELATION TO THEIR SAME-GRADES / BIRTHDAYSnot meant to be taken literally / as they’re exactly displayedmeaning “not all of these characters within these groups”“are actually the ‘same age’“
AND THIS ARTICLE SEEMS TO POSSIBLY BE CONFIRMING THATOR AT LEAST FURTHERING ALONG THE HYPOTHESISESPECIALLY RE: THE MEKATRIO ALL BEING SHOWN AS “17″REGARDLESS OF TAKANE & HARUKA’S ISSUE
(IS THIS MAKING SENSE AT ALL)[*this is mostly my theorizing too but it’s very interesting tooto lay out all these facts / references and compare the issue!!][AND ALSO BECAUSE IT COULD MAYBEHINT AT A MORE EASILY UNDERSTOOD CHRONOLOGICAL TIMELINE][ESPECIALLY CONCERNING RE:HOW TIME ACTUALLY WORKS IN THE DAZEAND IF THE CHARACTERS ACTUALLY AGE OR NOT IN ITOR OUTSIDE OF IT / IN THE REAL WORLD / POST-SERIES]
[*BASICALLYIF KONOHA’S ‘CHRONOLOGICAL AGE’ IS IRRELEVANT BECAUSEIT’S ACTUALLY HARUKA’SIF SAERU REALLY IS IMMORTAL][CAN HE EVEN ACTUALLY BE “KILLED”][BECAUSE I’M STARTING TO THINK HE REALLY CAN’T BE][AND THAT’S WHY THE MEKAKUSHI DANCONSISTENTLY TRY TO I.E.- USE HIM AS A LIFE VESSEL (BECAUSE SNAKE / FOR HIYORI IN MCA)- TRAP HIM IN THE DAZE / SOMEWHERE- FREEZE HIM / TURN HIM TO STONE ETC. ETC.- THE LAST ONE PARTICULARLY OFTEN SEEMS TO FAILBECAUSE HE ALWAYS TENDS TO BREAK OUT OF IT]
SO BASICALLY WHAT I’M ALSO IMPLYING IS
WHAT IF SAERUIN SOME FUTURE ALTERNATIVE ROUTESWAS EVER USED AS A LIFE VESSEL FOR SOMEONE
NOT
HIYORI ASAHINA
+ WHAT IF HE WASN’T USED IN THIS WAYIN EVEN MORE POTENTIAL “FUTURE” ROUTES

thekagepro24 replied to your post “Psst. Doesn’t Monokuma’s hat…. look familiar to you…?”
i thought the monokuma thing is a street fighter reference
Indeed, but...
M. Bison’s hat only has one symbol on it..
..versus the two shown here.
Plus, the significance of mimicking someone like M. Bison in the first place shouldn’t be lost on anyone. He wears a cape, and is an obviously evil ‘Supreme Leader’ - dictator - himself.
(Correction: it’s not Bison. [It’s Brocken Jr])

I still doki regardless. Having the real scene drawn out is always gucci.
they take turns on using it
