So this gentleman spoke to @abz.rahman and beckoned me to come over. I was unsure and was expecting a rebuke but he was straight to the point, “I don’t need food man, but I need a box room for the night. I was able to supply him with details of an emergency contact and he was able to secure a positive outcome. He was friendly, intelligent, articulate. He was smart and sassy. He glowed with creative vibes. I asked him his story and it turns out he is “Youthman” local reggae king Errol Bellot. The 60 year old was born in Peckham and once described as “one of the best kept secrets in British reggae.” Life can turn at any given moment but extraordinary people are patient and smile it through.
