#currentlyspinning some @itchspictures. The Manifesto EPs reflect the zeitgeist of 2013 but are equally as relevant today. I felt like I needed some positive messages amidst this #Coronavirus crisis as it feels too crazy atm. I hope this all blows over soon and that things can get back to 'normality', whatever that may be. I love the fusion of genres on this album, rock, hip hop, electronic, there's something for everyone.This pressing was a #RecordStoreDay exclusive and comes with a handsigned manifesto which has the song lyrics in. They speak a powerful truth which is what I seek for the most in music. The song 'True' is probably my fave out of the 2 parts as Itch cleverly portrays that not everything that the media shows should be followed referring to different Hollywood idylls. It feels good to be listening to this, my dopamine levels are increasing and I feel like my teenage angst is coming back, in a good way of course. Music is cathartic like that.
