i’ve also included some lore: kate used to “play” the synthesizer before the mysterious disappearance of their bandmate skully, so tim promoted her to be the bassist (also a very important moment in their career because from that day on they stopped desperately trying to sound like the doors and she proceeded to carry the band with her amazing tunes)

Gives himself piercings when he's bored. He can't feel them anyway, plus he thinks they look sweet
The piercings get infected more often than not, but it doesn't irritate him. Honestly he forgets about them.......
One of his most common ticks is snapping his head to the side quickly. This is especially annoying to him when he's trying to hold eye contact or intimidate people
Chronic mumbler. He's always muttering incoherent sentences underneath his breath and having conversations with himself
He is tormented by hallucinations of his dead sister. Lyra follows him around like a plague, whispering doubts into his ear and torturing him with her decaying form
HATES getting his haircut. Mostly because he has to sit still for it
When his hair gets too long and starts hanging out in his eyes and face he will wear a hat to keep it back
He smokes weed. Probably doesn't know how to roll unless it's cones. I'd imagine packing bowls is easier for him because he doesn't have to be so precise
Is in a constant battle in his head between being terrified of cars and then desperately wanting to drive them
Tim finally agreed to let him drive the truck around the forest one day and he immediately smashed it into a tree. The general rule with Toby now is: he can drive the golf cart....that's about it.
He loves to scare people. He's the kind of guy to wait around a corner and say "boo!" just because he thinks it's funny
He actually has an ongoing war with Kate as they both love to spook each other when they least expect it
When he's working, I imagine him whistling ominously or making noises to fuck with his victims
Like imagine him dragging his hatchets loudly across the floors, or lazily slashing them into the nearby tree trunks as he stalks his victims :0
Toby has a reputation of forgetting things. Some people chalk it up to the Operator's influence over his mind, but other times it feels like he's forgetting things on purpose...

Compared to the other 'eligible' bachelors in the Collective, Tim is by far one of the best options there is
He's caring, considerate, protective...and he understands the gravity of what it means to be in a proper relationship
Of course, at first he's hesitant. Even though he has feelings for you, getting wrapped up romantically with a guy like him is bad news
He's constantly worried about losing you, or what kind of danger just being with him puts you in
The two of you can't live a normal existence together. Not with his line of work, anyway
But when it becomes official, he sure as hell tries to do the best he can for you
Tim is protective, but not necessarily in an overbearing way
Tim wouldn't let anything bad happen to you, or at least... he tries really hard not to let anything bad happen to you
He makes it abundantly clear to the other Proxies and denizens of the manor that you are off-limits. He does not tolerate any shade being thrown your way, or any sly comments about what he does with you in private
When you're around other people together, Tim's always got a hand on you
He'll hold your hand and play with your fingers absent-mindedly, dialed in to whatever is being discussed amongst the group
He'd snake an arm around your waist, or drape one over your shoulders as he joins a conversation, trying to make you feel just as included as anyone else
He'll press a palm into your lower back, tracing lazy circles against the fabric of your shirt
Tim likes to do things 'the old fashioned way', mostly because after everything he's gone though he can't navigate romantic feelings in any other fashion
He makes it a habit to get doors for you, to lend you a hand when getting in and out of his pickup truck, and handing over his jacket the moment he even THINKS you might be feeling chilly
He would insist on taking you out on 'proper' dates
Going into town for a cup of coffee, sitting across from you in the booth and watching how the warm atmosphere softens your features
Taking you out to sleepy local bars in the middle of nowhere, buying you refills whenever your glass is empty, teaching you how to play pool or darts, maybe slowly dancing to the fuzzy music coming from the beat up jukebox
Even though his line of work keeps him extremely busy (and honestly over occupied) he would be determined to make time for you
He would take walks with you in the woods, sharing a cigarette between the two of you as you both bitch and moan about all the complications from your day
Or he would get you comfortably seated in the passenger side of his pickup truck and go on long drives in the evening
Tim takes care of you. His love language is acts of service, and keeping busy is really just second nature to him at this point
Usually you don't have to ask him or tell him to do anything for you, because before you can he's already finished it. Sometimes he does things you wouldn't even think to ask him for help with
If you happened to be a denizen of the manor, Tim would help you with whatever assignments you've been tasked with - even going as far to put off his own work to help aid you in yours

Tim Wright (with a Crush) Headcanons!
I feel like at his core, Tim is a very cautious person. He is not quick to trust other people
He can come across as extremely standoffish when he meets someone new, preferring to keep others at an arms length to protect them and himself
His caution comes from good reasoning, of course. Tim has learned time and time again that when people grow close to him, they get hurt
Naturally he isn't eager to get anyone roped into any sort of traumatic event, and he's even less eager to put himself through the heartbreak of losing someone
He tries to suppress his emotions in that regard, and so when he starts to develop a crush on someone he's pretty incapable of recognizing it...
So it would start off slow
I imagine Tim doesn't like to be alone with new, unfamiliar people. So if he has to interact with you, he'd feel more comfortable if Brian or literally ANYONE else was around
He would keep quiet, stealing glances at you between conversation topics and nervously avoiding your gaze if you catch him looking in your direction
Any social interaction with him will be met with grunts and grumbles, making it near impossible to determine how he feels about you
He'd try to rationalize with himself that he's just trying to 'figure you out'
Afterall, there must be something strange and unusual with you, because every time you're around him his heart starts pounding in his chest and his hands are shakier than usual...
You're such a mystery to him, and even though he wants to tell himself he doesn't care or couldn't be bothered to find out, he can't help himself
Tim is the kind of person who needs to feel familiar with someone before he can even begin to rationalize having feelings for them
But it's also his second nature to take care of other people
He would feel a tug in his chest, this odd inclination to protect you
Honestly, I think Brian or Toby would probably be able to recognize Tim's feelings for you before he even could
As he warms up to you, they'd be the ones to notice how his eyes soften ever so slightly when he listens to you speak, how he hangs off of every word you say, and how he seems more inclined to start making jokes with you whenever you're around
Not to mention, how he seems so much more eager to do tasks for you than anyone else
He'd go out of his way, breaking up his day-to-day routines to 'bump' into you
He'd ask you if you needed help with anything, offering to get you anything you might need
He'd practically devote himself to making your life as easy as possible if he can help it
It would take a lot though for him to realize he has a crush on you though
So many quiet, intimate moments after dark to get him to open up to you...
Your hands gently brushing against one another as you walk in the woods
Maybe he pulls out a cigarette, and you offer a light. Even though he doesn't need it, he lets you do so anyway, just so he can lean in and be close to you
He will start to give you his jacket as it gets cold out, like it's second nature, and he'll even let himself drink in how absolutely adorable you look when you wear it
It's only when he notices that his mind always drifts to your face when he tries to sleep does he realize that he likes you
And God, it hits him like a truck
He wouldn't be able to sleep that night for sure, and would be stupidly embarrassed that he hadn't realized his feelings sooner
Not to mention, a new fear; what if you don't feel the same way? And what does it mean that he feels this way about you at all?
He would be pacing the cabin all night long! Trying to figure out what to say to you, if anything at all
The next time he sees you, he's so embarrassed and awkward - which is sort of adorable since Tim hardly comes across that way
Usually Tim has such a strong presence, but the day after he comes to terms with how he feels about you...he seems a little jumpy
When you ask him what's wrong, he's terrible at lying to you and inevitably just confesses to you that he enjoys your company
Like....really enjoys your company
Tim's surprised when you tell him you like him too, and will blush excessively when you tell him you were waiting for him to make a move
After its all sorted, he probably wouldn't even know what to do next
Overall the conversation is very sweet and wholesome...maybe a little angsty just because he doesn't want to cause you any harm just because he's interested in you
At the end of it, he'd just pull you into a hug, before changing the subject
Maybe he'd say something along the lines of - "Well, now that that's settled....I suppose I should take you out on a proper date? How about it?"
Or maybe he'd simply clear his throat, take your hand, and offer a walk through the woods...Ya know, to talk about everything that is to come next
