If there’s one thing that pastry chef Yuri Plisetsky has never had, it’s an unsatisfied customer. So why does that attractive creep in the leather jacket never come in and buy something, damn it?!

“What’s it to you, Katsudon?” he grumbles around a mouthful of cereal. “I find it hard to believe you noticed anything other than Viktor’s ass last night.”

“Oh, I kept an eye on that too,” Yuuri responds easily, and Yuri almost chokes on his cereal. “But I also saw you walk away, and Otabek follow you. So? Did you get a chance to talk?”

2. there’s nothing unlucky about this (T)

Yuri is twenty-two when his life metaphorically ends.

A freak accident, they call it. Unlucky. Could’ve happened to anyone.

Yuri hates the people who try to tell him this. He’s been skating nearly as long as he can remember, and he knows the risks he takes, he took, every time he steps on the ice. It wasn’t unlucky, it wasn’t the wrong place at the wrong time. The ice is unforgiving, and sometimes demands a sacrifice to stay appeased. This time, it chose him.

3.  we’re (definitely) gonna get there (T)

Getting back to the topic at hand, Yuri can’t help but ask, “S-so, you think Otabek… likes me?” He curses internally at the stutter in his voice.

Yuuri is giving him that odd look again.

“Well of course he does. But wouldn’t you know that better than me? After all, you two are together, aren’t you?”
