I’ve mentioned a few posts back about Mrs. Royal Domesticity who is a true believer of making food prep fun and interesting. This is for her daughter who also loves food as much as she does! So I thought I’d talk about my own journey more and see how it progresses throughout my journey!
Ever since the #BaonSerye photos became viral on Facebook, Mrs. Royal Domesticity instantly became the millenial mum everyone wants to have.
I idolise the way she makes simple things into something amazing, which is what this blog is all about. I go by simplicity of everything and easycooked meals is what I’ve always aimed for. By watching food comps on tv, I know for sure that chefs and foodies love instagram-worthy dishes that not only feed the stomach, but also the eyes. And this is what Royal Dosmesticity specialises in and it inspires me to be like that as well.
I know this is the second post about baon prep but I just want to point out that being an adult in this world is tougher than it actually is and so my baon preps have now been a weekly thing because adult life has taken over me. I find it therapeutic knowing that for the rest of the week, I have food ready to be packed! And I’d love to share this experience to you all
This is my third week and every week, I pack 2-3 meals that would cater for a few days. I try not to prep more than 4 because I’m scared of food going bad.
I’m so thankful for the great resources and fresh produce Australia has! Couple this with variations of different recipes and extra healthy and delicious sides and desserts, baon-making or ready-to-eat meals shouldn’t be boring after all!
What’s your favourite food to pack for lunch?
