When the squad bets on how long it will take for Buck and Abby to get back together when she comes back to LA, Eddie is forced to reconsider keeping his feelings for Buck a secret. “Thanks,” Eddie mumbles, hiding his face deep in his pillow, even if Buck can’t see him in the dark. “What for?” Leave it to Buck to be confused about something so obvious. “Being you, idiot.” “And again with the name calling,” he answers, content and sleepy. Nights like this, Eddie feels like asking for a miracle. But to the team, it wasn’t a matter of if Abby would take him back, but when. A matter of days.

Okay in all seriousness, literally anything by @extasiswings. Her fantastic playground love series is a great twist on the lawsuit arc and what comes after, she co-wrote I Hit the Accelerator (But the Car was in Reverse) with me, and she’s currently got two WIPs that are amazing and I’m drooling with excitement for more. She also just wrote a cat dad Eddie fic after getting us all aboard that train so you can blame her for me putting a cat named Princess in every single Buddie fic from now on.

Next we have @kingbuckley, also known as mediwitch3 on Ao3. Oh boy oh boy oh boy I hope you like werewolf fics. Oh wait never mind even if you don’t, you will like this one. I hunt for you with bloody feet is THE BEST WEREWOLF AU, NO I WILL NOT HEAR ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY. Her current WIP is a Pirate AU that’s killing me softly but she’s got a lot of other great fics that you can check out, her Rival Frats AU is fucking hilarious and the end is hhhnnngghh.

I would of course be highly remiss not to mention @theleftboobgrabber who just fucking clocked me in the back of the head with a Pacific Rim AU and I think I owe her my life now, do go check it out, it’s got three out of four chapters written and if we don’t get the fourth chapter soon I might have to manifest in her house and beg for mercy in person.

And then we have @hearteyesforbuck aka Eli, WHOSE AO3 NAME I AM FORGETTING, ELI COME HERE AND TELL ME YOUR AO3 NAME, she’s the co-author of the Vermont Verse with the lovely @thisissirius, and is also writing another WIP where Buck has a YouTube channel reading bedtime stories for kids and it’s so fucking sweet I think I got a cavity (I definitely cried, like, it was bad, guys, it was straight-up ugly crying).

Aww this was so sweet to get, thank you! Of course, I can tell you 😊 It’s the counterpart to Maddie’s hen do, and because drunk Chim is frigging hilarious, I will have to make sure I do him justice, so this might be a little way off in the future (i.e. I can only write fluff when I’m sad: go figure!)

So far, I literally only have this:

“So Maddie, you know Maddie right? You know when I knew I loved Maddie – ”

Hen and Buck look at each, Hen rolling her eyes to the heavens whilst Buck stifles a snigger.

Placing a hand on his shoulder, Hen’s shaking her head as she says, “Chim, you two really are made for each other.”

“I know Hen, <i>I know.</i>”

But it’ll be a nice fluffy piece, although maybe not tooth-rotting, because Madney are the cutest because they’ve been through so much. I just have to work out how to make this fit into the theme of the series!

25. Favourite song played in the show?

“The Killers - Some Kind Of Love” - which was played in 1x8. i went to find it right away and learned singer wrote it for his wife who suffered from mi and you can tell the song is about suicide and idk it just resonated with me. it was perfect for conclusion of bobby’s arc especially once he decided to live on ❤

France elects its president directly, there is no problem or no "but [very populated area] decides the vote". Like no buddy, no region has greater weight bc the vote isn't regional. Like sure they give us a color coded breakdown of how each region voted but its just for reference. My vote in rural brittany = the vote of a Parisian = the vote of any French citizen voting from abroad. This reminds me of my civic ed teacher back in middle school saying that democracy in the us was a sham.
