Dragon Heart || Toshiro & Szayel

Continuation of this here thread X
How long had it been since he had first met this strange human? A few weeks definitely, possibly a little over a month or so. After all the injuries that Toshiro had sustained had been substantial ones and it was a real wonder that he was still amongst the living thinking back on how close to death's door he had been.
Now most of those injuries were mere memory, nothing more than scars upon his skin that will fade with time. It was not uncommon for his kind to bear the signs of battle anyway so they did not worry him. He was more concerned with this strange human he found himself in the company of still.
No longer did Toshiro think that the man had it in him to harm him, that was in the past, but his curiosity over him was not yet sated. After all he had yet to speak to him despite the man's chatter directed towards him on a daily basis. At first it had been because he was wary and did not trust him but now with questions unanswered buzzing around his head he burned to have them answered.
Carefully he observed the red-head from across the clearing they were settled in still, watching as the man's hand brushed across the pages of a small book, writing something in strange symbols that were foreign to him. Now how could he go about this? There was no way around startling the man but he couldn't just speak to him when he was doing something could he? No that would be rude- instead he stood up from his spot and carefully padded towards the man until he stood over him. He nudged his shoulder gently to get his attention and then stared. Waiting. Patiently for him to finish and engage him before he began.
