...Huh, according to the Wiki, Eret isn't on the list of attendees but that may be because of lack of a vod, lemme check Tubbo's footage, he had a very nice view of the audience from the box he was put in 😬.

No, I don't think so! And Eret's wiki page confirms this, they didn't attend. Maybe cc!Eret wanted to go but couldn't make it that day. Who knows?

Also it's worth noting that in-universe (edit: this is mostly me reading between the lines here, Dream didn't attend the festival either), a King declining what was an open invitation to everyone in Manberg and the Greater Dream SMP (excluding Tommy and Wilbur, of course) is a straight-up power move. It's a way of saying Eret disapproved of Schlatt's administration without saying it outright, especially since the festival is supposed to be a celebration of it.

It was also pretty bold to publicly support Niki after she became a fugitive from Manberg. No wonder Dream went to Eret during the war and said "stay out of this." Eret hasn't been hiding their biases at all.

Um, hiya^^ I'm Jay and I recently discovered that you read my poem on a discord server? I was very surprised to heaar this and i was kinda wondering...what you thought of it

Hello there, Jay. And yes, I did read your poem! It was requested a few months ago for a recurring event I hold in my own Discord server, and the person who sent it my way suggested I read it aloud live for them. 

The poem itself holds a great deal of symbolism regarding Dark’s character background and how he behaves. What I like about the poem is that there’s a new descriptive word or phrase in each part where appropriate, and there aren’t a lot of free-verse style poems out there that revolve around YouTuber egos, personas and so on. I can see each line is underlining that sense of passion, fantasy and realism mixed together as I read along it. 

However, in the middle (from “Running chilled fingers…” to “…trips to the aquarium”), there is a sort of clash–for lack of a better word–involving the more violent risks that lead to death and the humble activities of life. It almost seems like the direction of it was walking along smoothly and then suddenly turned around and started second-guessing itself. If there is a reason for all that, I’d very much like to know about it and why those lines were structured the way they are. 

Apart from that, I can tell that this was written with a broad view on Dark and how many perceive him by his multiple facets of character. You did a great job in incorporating all those poetic elements and techniques, and it leaves that atmosphere of wonder, excitement, fear, passion, uncertainty and clarity when you finish reading through the poem from start to finish. 

So, in short, you did an impressive job at it and you should be very proud of it. Well done!

This is so random but

I'm happy Wilbur chose redwoods as the trees around L'manburg because they're my 2nd favorite kind of tree after I read this book as a kid where a girl and her aunt tried to protect an ancient grove of redwoods from a lumbering company. The company ended up cutting down one of the biggest trees and the girl briefly saw/experienced the trees memories from its long life and i remember crying in school while reading it.

I really wanna see them in person one day but for now I'll settle for writing about them~
