Another dead night, save for a few fleeting shadows here and there that didn’t do much.
Tadashi pulled his long cloak tighter around himself as he walked the wet alley ways of San Fransokyo, yellow eye’s glowing faintly in the dim lighting he passed. Friday night’s were usually somewhat more busier than this, which had Tadashi a bit on edge. He needed to do some serious patrolling tonight before returning home.
There was no home for him.. Not anymore. Not ever since he’s been bitten. He said, leaning against a rough brick wall, sliding down against it until he was crouched down. He rubbed his face tiredly, thinking of what used to be home; Aunt Cass, friends, the Cafe. Fat adorable Mochi.. And Hiro, most of all Hiro. He could never risk hurting his baby brother, not with what he know’s he is now. Just another monster.
Yet, for monster standards, Tadashi was quickly becoming a well known new recruit to the Lycan community, not for his ferociousness, but lack of. Better control than all the other’s, who had to grit their teeth just to get past something that set them off, whereas Tadashi could still help an unassuming old lady if need be. Lycan’s always had the urge to bite people, passing on infection, everyone knew that. It’s supposed to be an unbearable feat, hence their rebellious and dangerous reputations. Yet Tadashi could pass for a normal human being, had it not been for the eye’s. Because of this amazing self control, other’s feared him, both human and Lycan.
This was why he needed to patrol tonight, why he needed to keep his rank of fear over the fellow beasts in the city. He may have hunted them before, but now he needed their help, help to over throw a Government that once held him in high regard’s, and now hunted him relentlessly like any common creature. The air was still humid, and rich in scent. He should be able to smell when someone is in trouble, human genetic’s giving off a distinct chemical scent when scared and full of adrenaline, but when he gave a strong inhale all he could smell was.....Hiro? .....No, it can’t be...
