"Hey, lady! Lady, I think you dropped somethin'." He waved a credit chit a bit, hoping to catch the eye of the woman that he thought it belonged to.
"You... I thought you perished in the war." Ysara said grimly. It would sound if she was shocked but she truly was not. She should have known he would have cheated death; he did it once he could do it again. The older colorless female crossed her arms, waiting for the male to respond or to make his move. Either way, she was ready for any outcome.
He looked over at her, keeping his features schooled. "A fact I gravely lamented, until I discovered my daughter yet lived." He gave her that much, but would give her no more. Though most knew the fact that he had a wife, few knew of the child growing within her womb. And that was something he held close to him for the moment. He was worried she would be come a target, if it became common knowledge. What better way to strike a blow upon the ruling House?
In truth, the woman before him was the biggest threat that he was aware of. Her House had been a prominent House. His House had been the Ruling House for many generations. But this was a new day and he wondered if she might just try to challenge him. He hoped it did not come to that, there were far too few protheans to risk even one. But he had no intent on stepping down. His empire...his people would not make the same mistakes as the past. He was ushering them into a new era.
"You..." (Ysara)
He looked over at her and just blinked. His face displayed nothing, but his body stiffened, preparing himself for anything. "Yes?" His voice was a touch cool, but not condescending.

"Don't really know the creature enough to make judgement."

Mordin didn’t speak, but simple gestured for another one, his eyelids closed slightly. He begrudgingly put the glass to his mouth and slowly started to drink.
"Head…hurtsh. Where ishecond cresht. Where ish it. Krogan. They angry. Didn’t kill your babies. Killed hormonesh. In women. Killed…kogan woman. Genpage. Never killsh with medshin. Really tashty drink. Delish. Tired."
He put his head to the table and closed his eyes, before jerking them open upon hearing a shout. The realisation set upon him that he needed to work in the morning, and let out a loud groan.

"Put some clothes on!" Saren growled.
Excuse me, I couldn't help but to over hear about your daughter. I am gald she is doing well.
"Why thank....you," his voice fell away as he noticed the strange being that spoke to him. He was around before the invasion, he knew of many of the past races, but this being was unfamiliar to him. "I have studied many races, but you...you I have never come across before. What are you?"
The scientist in him was already buzzing with excitement. He couldn't help but wish he had a drop of the creature's blood. So much could be learned with just a simple drop. It was not that he wanted the creature to be a lab rat...but he was a scientist. And he could no more stop that than he could stop breathing.
