Just want to say you are doing a great thing here! I hope it does a lot to encourage readers to comment and brings joy to readers and writers alike.
Regarding the spreadsheet, I'm so glad it exists to introduce people to fics that deserve some love. I just wanted to point something out for anyone whose fandom isn't included - since new users often find Ao3's filtering difficult to manage. In the Filters menu, you can select to sort by comments. It's a drop-down at the top. This will put the works with the most comments first, but you can then navigate directly to the last page of the search where you are likely to find those fics that have gone un-commented!
