I won’t lie, I always did and sometimes still do get irrationally jealous of all the Doctor’s companions. I’d tell myself that they were just pets but I knew better. The Doctor had this great capacity for love and I don’t doubt that they loved every single one of them. It bothered me. When he was busy running around with them, he wasn’t looking at me. He wasn’t seeing me anymore. Do you know what it’s like, loving someone so much that they become your guiding star? The Doctor was mine but I know I wasn’t his.
