Even though there is annoying shit going on that makes me cry and doubt myself, I am learning a lot at school though. I recognize what I have to do to live up to the standards I have for myself because I KNOW I can do better than what I’m doing. I’m capable of so much, I can do whatever I set my mind to. I just need better habits fr.

I’ve been thinking about learning phonics properly to help my sister with reading and today, I watched a video on the break down of the sounds (very vaguely might I add, I was half listening and watching Anthony Bourdain) but it felt like a whole new world was opened to me once I started practicing it myself 😭!

I need to write notes of course, but once I tackle that, I need to move onto long/short vowels and all that jazz and breaking down 1-3+ syllable words and whatever comes before and after that.

It wasn’t until I started seeking out knowledge to help my sister that I realize just how much moving around as a kid had an impact on me educating wise Or just how much I needed a refresher for the basics I guess lol. But it’s fun!

I’m really just looking for reasons to stay off of my TikTok and social media fr so hopefully I can work with my mind enough to make progress for the both of us!
