Doubt about a theme
Hi!
I really like your themes and I’m about to use one for my tumblr. I took the theme Edea and edited through the tumblrs settings. The theme looks pretty, but i found that the same gif that I used on the sidebars does not look the same on the container. So, i was wondering if it was something about the code, and as i’m barely learning about coding, i have little idea of how to make the container look like the sidebars.
I’m sorry if this turned out as a long question, but a summary of it is that the gif on the sidebars is colloured violet while on the container it is not coloured. I would like to know how to do it if it is possible.
Thanks for your reply in advance.

Hi! I’m sorry if you didn’t want this to be replied in public but your ask isn’t enabled yet (and anyway I wanted to use pictures to be more clear)! If you want me to delete this question tell me and I’ll do so asap!
It’s 2 am so forgive me if I’m not writing in my best English or if I can’t respond quickly again but:
to obtain the same exact effect on sidebars and container, you need the sidebars and containers to be of the same color and use the same blending. By blending I mean this:
they should all be the same one
and same as these:
which look different by default as you can see, so when you paste the theme initially the sidebars are that violet, and the container is black. Sidebars are on hard light and container is on multiply.
I checked your theme, and right now container is black with blending on screen, sidebars are violet with blending on multiply.
so in your theme, (and by the way it’s beautiful, I love the gifs), you need to make your container be the same violet as your sidebars (which is #691f98 in your code) and set the containerblend to multiply like your the sidebars.
If you ever change one thing you should change the others too to be the same (if you want to keep the same look). So you click on the container color and add that #691f98, then scroll down to containerblend and select multiply.
of course the container won’t be as visible once you write posts, only the borders, because there are the posts on top of it. But the posts area is a bit transparent on purpose to show the background (and goes back to normal when you hover with your mouse. Let me know if you ever want to make the posts always fully visible and I’ll help!)
if it’s not clear or you need to know more feel free to use instant messages too! obviously I’ll answer when I’m awake but I’ll get to them!
Thank you for asking so nicely!
