i really wish i played an instrument. i think ive mentioned before wanting to learn to play the banjo solely for the purpose of sitting on my deck at halloween and playing creepy twangy music.

fog - how well do you think you’d do in a zombie apocalypse scenario?

my zombie plan is to die immediately. running? hate it. fighting? suck at it. eating whatever food you can find? thanks, ill starve. just gonna sleep until i dont wake up anymore, later zombies.

🔥 got a hot take on John Does at the End?

Any OT3 stuff that involves only John and Amy is garbage and I don’t want it. Also, whilst the published version is tighter, narratively consistent and not just a bit of a mess, i still think the OG PWOT version is superior. It feels purer, and is most definitely funnier. Badgerconda and the regular ducks, represent.Dave might be an unreliable narrator, but far as I care that just refers to how the way he describes events are effected by how he sees himself - how he’ll make himself seem more of an asshole, less heroic, etc etc - and i care very little for any “what if it didn’t happen?” “what if Dave’s actually this fucking asshole creep” etc etc stuff.Oh, and I like the film. Limited by budget, and changes that cut out great stuff and characters and whatever.. i still think it’s a fun watch and represents the series well.

Film ask games. 1 and 8!

1. Whats the most depressing movie I’ve ever watched?I want to say The Mist but the way it delivers its depression is so fucking darkly comic that I couldn’t help but cackle. I tend to really avoid depressing films in general, that’s not what I watch films for, so even the saddest of films I watch tend to have hope or redemption or ironic twisted satisfaction (ala The Mist). So I guess I’ll go with Grave of the Fireflies because. Yeah. That film is a doozy.8. Which Book Would I Like To See Adapted?Already answered. I’d love to also see the Rivers of London series by Ben Aaronivitch adapted but they would be more suited to a tv series (which I think the BBC are working on). Another Chris Wooding adaptation I’d love though is The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray. First book I ever really read for fun and it kind of marked me on the kind of stuff I like- urban fantasy, victorian setting, action adventure, lovecraftian horror- and I think it could make one fucking hell of a fun stand alone feature (that could easily become a franchise). He’s kind of busy but Tom Holland as Thaniel, Idris Elba as Carver, Emily Blunt as Cathaline, cast a young up and coming British Indian actress as Alaizabel. Keep his mask fetish going and cast Tom Hardy as Stitchface (though last thing we need is another white boy serial killer being fetishized by fangirls). God, you’ve got me thinking now!

It was honestly one of my fucking favourite things. It was horrifying but it was an amazing way to show the other characters that David was not in control. Man I love how this show handles things.

I loved how clearly off things were from the get go, just his mannerisms and the way he spoke and what not, it was so good. I’m also reaaaally glad they didn’t drag this out and had them thinking David was evil or some shit for the longest time. Cary coming in clutch

spaceballs is always number one, but also the village, cloudy with a chance of meatballs, satan’s little helper, repo!, jeepers creepers. basically a lot of really bad horror movies
