Happy New Year to the lovely followers!

I know it’s been quite a while since I last posted something on here but it’s been a crazy and busy end of the year. My parents have finally opened up to Aaron being my boyfriend after 2 years now. He’s been at more of our family functions and it’s nice that my parents are accepting of it. He was able to spend Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Years with my family. It was awesome! But anyways, I hope everyone the best in this new year! Oh, and congratulations to one of our admins, Emily on her pregnancy :)!!!

Before I end this post I have one question to ask all the followers.. It is a bit controversial but I just wanna hear what other milsos, family members, etc., think about cohabiting with your SO.

Hey Loves,

It’s been a while since I’ve posted! Aaron was home for his leave so I basically disappeared haha! It was so nice to have him home. He’s back at base now but I will be seeing him again in about two weeks for the Marine Ball! Speaking of the ball, are any milsos going to be in Las Vegas on the 26th?!?

My boyfriend has been at basic for 2 weeks & hes written to his family but not to me. I'm starting to worry that he's forgetting me already. I sent him 4 letters today telling him how much I miss him&I feel like I'm going to look stupid if he doesn't feel the same way..

Hey Anon,

When my boyfriend was in Basic for the Navy, his family also received a “letter” first. It was a piece of paper with typed info for graduation along with a short paragraph from him saying “Hey mom, I’m okay.” That’s most likely what his family got; it’s standard procedure so everyone can have info for graduation (usually goes to their home address where their parents/family live). For James, letters were held for the first three to four weeks and they didn’t get to send letters during that time period. He should be receiving your letters (then he’ll be able to have your address if he doesn’t already know it), as well as sending his letters out, within the next two weeks so don’t worry :)

Got a phonecall today..

 "I don't know when you'll hear from me cause something bad close to us happened but things will be okay here, I promise." I'm still a little shaken but got to keep my head up. I'm hoping things are okay.
