I wanted to do something different than holding a homecoming sign so we mailed my husband one of our son’s walkie-talkies in a care package. When he stepped off the ship and got close enough to the crowds, he began radioing our son. It was the cutest thing to see his reaction to be able to communicate via walkie-talkie with his father.

Hi, I've been with my boyfriend for 2 (almost 3 years) now and he's recently left for Marine Corps boot camp. He felt Monday, Dec 7th. I already miss him tremendously, and I can't seem to really confide my feelings to anyone because I feel like they won't understand.
