May i offer to fish-ify your Themis Trio in this trying time?

Some design explanation, Hugh's is already on the picture but i'll paste it here and add more

For Hugh, I thought of making him any animal that can rest on the floor. This way i can draw him aiming his bow (not that a fish cant, i just thought that thisll be fun). It allows him to be able to stand and aim properly, plus theres just many cool poses you can mame with this. And when i think of Hugh who likes to show off it reminds me if a sea lion, lol-

For Robin, at first i chose a clownfish solely because of aesthetic, but then i remembered what they can do and went "OH. OH Thats perfect actually!" You can also see a slingbag there, i imagined it to be her binder that she repurposed into a small bag

For Juniper, i honestly was quite stuck on what animal she should be. But i know i wanted to give her a pretty tail and make her yellow. Then im remembered of some cute salt-water angelfish :). I admit i took some creative liberty here..

But wait, there's one more!

I have yet to color her, unfortunately.. but i shall also explain her design

For Myriam, octopus often hides inside many objects for camouflage, and i thought it fitting for Myriam! And what i mean by "plants on shell eaten in certain way to make shapes. Octopus Myriam with a clamshell in place of her cardboard box" is how she uses a clamshell that has a lot of plants growing on it. The plants are trimmed/eaten to make different shapes. She can even make a cardboard box shape

Okay, so, just gonna post this A YEAR LATE bc what else can ya do with it?

Y'all see a bit earlier in my posts how I was writing my own Themis Trio fangame? Yeeaahh, well, I originally conceptualized it in 2015, but my brainstorming-to-writing process is so frustratingly long that even now I haven't done much past the outline and a few scenes of dialogue.

And then Spirit of Justice came out in 2016, and either I, a Capcom employee, or BOTH are unknowing mind readers bc my fangame had a LOT in common with SoJ:

A character named Amara (though mine was like a Penny Nichols-level minority, so...)

The detective is SUPER sassy (OC)

A peppy child character that helps out while being super adorable/a child character whose traumatic memories of a family member's death come out after the death of their archaeologist father who help bring their father's killer down while also getting closure (YES, somehow I had a character that basically rolled Ahlbi and Armie into one, and yes the father was... almost an archaeologist. A palaeontologist, actually.)

The reappearance of an established character's up-til-this-point absent family (bc the O'Conner parents' motives intrigue me)

A character is bribed into committing murder

A non-murder case that becomes a murder case (in this case, theft... which becomes drug-trafficking, which becomes-)

Characters we haven't seen in a while come back

The final case is not in Japanifornia (I used Anchorage, Alaska, bc... Alaska)

So yeah, not really sure if I should even attempt to work on it again, but I fell in love with my own characters and even if they will never see the light of day, I don't think I can remove them from my headcanon. If anyone at all wants to know who these characters are, or what the outline was, let me know however tumblr lets people know these things and I'll post it separately.

Who’s the messiest one:

robin. she leaves her art stuff literally everywhere (constance did a similar thing)

Who feels the most uncomfortable about PDA:

hugh is a huge nerd and is embarrassed about all of that even though he pretends he gets all the girls and that everyone wants to get with his hot bod. robin is really touchy-feely to begin with and juniper's usually pretty shy but with the themis kids she's fine with it

Who’s the funniest drunk:

hugh complains about life. robin yells. juniper cries

Who texts the most:

robin likes to send hugh and junie her newest masterpieces, even if it's some pottery she smashed in a fit of passionate artist rage. she does this pretty often

Who has the most embarrassing taste in music:

back in the early '10s hugh was a weeaboo. he still has all his anime music stored away somewhere (and secretly he still likes it)

Who reads the most:

they all study hard but likely hugh

Who’s better with kids:

juniper thinks kids are cute and is generally the best one with them. hugh and robin aren't too bad when they're not awkward (and when robin's not yelling so loud it scares the kids)

Who’s the one that fixes things around the house:

hugh's the best at that. robin's usually the one breaking things in the first place

Who’s got the weirdest hobby:

their main hobbies are pretty normal ones of archery, art and gardening, but robin also likes to do some interesting things for her art, like collecting sticks and rocks now and again for inspiration stuff. not a weird one but junie also really likes making flower crowns and daisy chains and the like

Who cooks and who cleans up:

they all try their hand at it but juniper and hugh tend to do a lot of the cooking and cleaning respectively. robin helps them out when she can
