do you have any monkees headcanons? i’d love to hear them if you do!
I actually don't really have many! I'm very new to the fandom side of the Monkees, mostly because I didn't actually know there WAS a Monkees fandom (or at least a modern day Tumblr community). I've been a HUGE fan of the music and show since I was really little, so it never occurred to me other people on the Internet may also like it (lol)
The only thing I could really think of currently is I definitely hc showverse Nesmith and Tork as autistic (bc I'm autistic and I said so) because they both for sure exhibit different traits. Two sides to the same coin, you might say.
And then showverse Micky is 100% an ADHD king and you can't convince me otherwise (again because I have adhd and I say so)
Mmmm what else. Well I guess I could talk about the modern au hcs I've been developing lightly!! I remember seeing this lovely post about how the boys would use social media in the present day (if the show was set in the present day) I can't remember who had posted it but once I do I will be sure to credit them.
Anyway, I loved the idea of Davy being a TikTok star and Micky being a science YouTuber, and of course Peter being a tumblr girlblogger, but in my heart of hearts I feel like Nez would be an avid Tumblr user too, more in the sense of having a small but loyal community. Posting about whatever he's writing or whatever crazy stuff he's had to deal with in the pad.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head right now, as I have only really begun my journey into the fandom, but if I have any more I will be sure to let you know!
Would any of my Monkees related followers like to be a part of a taglist for any Monkees related content I post (such as art/writing/etc)? I wanted to see if any of you would be interested in something like that, as I have seen taglists for things like that in the past.
