...He’s of half a mind to see how long the other would stay like that. Whim isn’t the best reason for requesting something... but then, he’s one to talk. So Spider didn’t leave the other reaching for too long, leaning down to lift the smaller up and get a comfortable hold.
“Don’t push your luck, kid. And don’t make a habit of this, eventually my mood won’t be so accepting of yours.”
"Hey." A gentle tug at the assassin's sleeve, indigo eyes staring upwards, wide and hopeful and playful and oh so innocent, a small smile tugging at his lips. The kid ( pun not intended. Heh ) that is most definitely not a kid gives the blond's sleeve another tug, then raises his arms up towards Spider. "Hug?"
The first pull had been enough to get the man’s attention, though a pause followed the question before he decided to respond. ( And it’s one that’s been voiced more than once, in various ways. )

Didn’t really matter if ‘cute’ did apply to the other, at this point it’s stubbornness keeping him from admitting it.

Really, he was used to the thief showing up out of nowhere, you’d think he wouldn’t be surprised to see him at the hotel. Slightly more odd to find him leaving, though. ( Normally ( more like recently, certainly not to begin with ) the kid wouldn’t leave him alone. )
Maybe going out because the assassin had only just come back...? ...Possibly.
...The other wasn’t entirely out yet, so...
“...Is there a reason you’re here?”
There's an almost apologetic expression on his face as he approaches the thief, flustered gaze flickering this way and that. With each step, that /urge/ is growing ever stronger, drowning out the guilt and nervosity bit by bit - and then he's finally close enough, hands fisting tight into the front of his double's shirt to pull him forward and into a kiss, hot and deep and so much more different than the usual simple peck.
This hadn’t been the first time the thief had been surprised with... more that the usual affectionate peck from his other self. Didn’t stop him from getting caught off guard from the relative suddenness of it of it again.
Initial confusion faded soon, however, as a faint heat rose and spread across his face. And then another moment passed before Kid managed to get his thoughts together to fall into returning the action, hands reaching around the other to grasp at his shirt.
"Hey, um, Spider?" Kaito was shifting, fidgeting, something nervous and uncertain and embarrassed in his gaze as it kept darting around, only settling on Spider for but a few moments before it flickered elsewhere. "Can I--" The words got stuck in his throat. He swallowed, knowing it would be better to ask than to act first, and forced the rest of them out. He still wasn't looking at the assassin. "--kiss you?"
For all the nervousness the other showed, that question hadn’t been one he expected to hear. Especially when he was more used to the teen doing, rather than asking, though it made a nice change.
As for the question itself...
“I suppose I don’t mind if you do... any particular reason for it, though?”

Who gets overwhelmed by small acts of kindness? Either might, it'd depend on their mood when it happens. But generally Spider.
Who flinches at sudden movements? Kaito, and Spider tries to put him at ease when he does.
Who is most confused as to why their S.O. is still with them? Spider's confused as to why Kaito would want to be with him, Kaito's surprised Spider hasn't pushed him away yet.
Who has to constantly check their S.O. still loves them?Kaito, he gets insecure and wonders if he's pushing a relationship and if the assassin really doesn't care and is just humouring him.
Who says the other/s would be better off with someone else? Kaito, actually. Spider too, but Kaito's self esteem is pretty low.
Who gets surprised when they are given gifts? Kaito. He's the gift giver, and Spi isn't, so...
Who is most likely to break down on the other and how does their S.O. attempt to calm them down? Kaito doesn't get them nearly as often, but can still fall into possible panic attacks, and Spider does whatever he can to help that won't make it worse. (Probably holding Kaito, but that might not always be best.)
Who is most self conscious in public? Neither are overly self conscious, but depending on the situation, then it's Kaito.
Who is more likely to apologize a million times for a tiny mistake? Kaito's more likely to apologise any amount over a few times, but Spider curbs that, so neither, in the end.
Who admits they’re scared only when they think their S.O. is asleep and how does the other react? Kaito, when it gets to be a bit much for him to keep in. (Less likely if they're sleeping together, more likely if Kaito drops by where Spider's staying and found him in bed already.) Depending on what's said, Spider might just keep it in mind and react later, or he'll talk with Kaito.
Who never thinks they’re good enough for the other? Both, Kaito with his self esteem, Spider in comparing how kind Kaito is in comparison to him.
Who takes a bullet for the other?Both would, if it came up.
