WAY TO MAKE a situation more complicated. Parker barely has the time to process what’s going on before an all too familiar voice calls out to him. He doesn’t really respond right away, casting a startled glance Mu’s way before replacing his hat and slowly standing up.

Human he may be, Parker’s voice and clothes haven’t changed any, and it’s really all he can hope that Mu catches onto it before things get more awkward.

FUNNY, ALMOST, HOW used Tsii was to smelling unfamiliar things from her kitchen at this point. Between Cookie coming aboard from time to time, and the ( thankfully long passed ) condition the room had been in before, it’s almost become normalized.

Almost. Regardless of if she thinks much of it or not, the little alien finds herself drawn in all the same, peeking quietly into the kitchen to observe her roomate at work before speaking up.

They scramble to catch the flask that had been startled right out of their hands, followed by a few comical seconds of fumbling before it’s safely clutched between their hands.

“Ah! Sorry! Sorry, sorry! Wasn’t watching - Are you okay? Didn’t hurt you?” They chirp, quickly storing the flask away in a bag at their hip and fussing over what appeared to be a child in front of them. (Though, to any observers, Perscilla was no taller than said child themself...)

THE QUESTION ALONE is enough to throw the DJ for a loop, much less the sight that greets him when he looks over his shoulder to regard the girl. While his shades do wonders in hiding the widening of his eyes, the sudden tightening of his grip on his clipboard is less concealable.

... Still, he can’t afford to lose his composure! Carefully, the clipboard is set down and the penguin turns to regard the bird-turned-human properly.
