I just spent $75 covid-proofing my house before corporate guests arrived. They arrived, then decided to leave for a local hotel. What should I do now?

The reservation was made by a personal assistant. The 3 businessmen arrived, looked around, and left for a local hotel!

I feel so used. I busted my ass cleaning and disinfecting this place. It is sparkling, show-room clean. And all for nothing.

So, what will happen now? How should I play this? The booking was worth about $400, made via "Instant booking", 48 hours before. Surely I will get something?

Should I just stay quiet and hope I get paid regardless? I mean who knows how their expensing system works right? I was chill with the 3 guys, I just said "no problem have a good stay!" So, maybe they're on side? I have no idea...

By the way I say $75 as it took a whole day. I mean the place needed a lot of tidying, it was practically a spring clean.
