got back into pokemon lately and I've been playing SP. it's nice. I got a spiritomb and everything. but even when I do find it fun it doesn't have me in a chokehold like some of the games do. I've come to the conclusion that it's just so polished. I really don't like how those new games look. The gameboy quality music of gens 1 and 2, the sprites drawn by people who don't really seem to get the creatures they're making, even the pacing issues of gen 2 and excessive surfing in 3 and how grindy every generation before 6 was. The bad (although I wouldn't seriously call it bad) made it good.
