Taeyeon’s eyes widened at the sound of a new presence behind her. She turned around, her wrist still locked in the iron grip of some bar scum who wouldn’t leave her alone.
She’d met Yoona at the bar for a few drinks and was stood on the street, trying to get in touch with her manager when she was approached by two drunken men. Clearly unable to take a hint in their current state Taeyeon resorted to shoving them out of her way in an attempt to prevent herself from being cornered. They were just about to take a violent turn when the man before her showed up. “Why yes actually, they really are.” She spoke trying to mask the shake in her voice.
Frankly speaking, Gikwang was a little hesitant - scared, in other words - whilst wrestling with his thoughts whether or not he should pull off this heroic act. Except for what he’d learned from video games and movies, he had no real experience in fighting. However, leaving a woman in such a hopeless situation would haunt him for the rest of his life, and that’s why he decided to step in between her and her alleged oppressors, holding onto that single thought and trying not to let fear rule his body, though he could already hear his bones cracking and breaking.
“What part of her answer did you not understand?” He possessively slithered his arm around the female’s waist and pulled her close to his side, glaring daggers at the opponents, yet his voice was still slightly at odds with his hostile expression. “Go home and sober up, or else I’ll report you to the police.” With that being said, he spun around and marched back in the direction he came from, dragging her along, with no intention of looking back. Despite all those demeaning insults being thrown at them as they walked away, Gikwang did not let them provoke him.
