Post card from Madurai. While most of the country is familiar with green coconuts, the southern parts including the Andaman & Nicobar islands have these bright orange coconuts . We call it Gauli/Gauri Gathram. These are a dwarf variety which tends to be sweeter than the green ones and cultivated primarily for its water.
