I “finished” my SWBB piece - but then I was inspired to add some details that will definitely go into the rewrite. Since there’s gonna be a rewrite, I could share the “last sentence”... but it’s like The Last sentence... so I’m going with some from the first part instead.
“So says the man who is usually first in line at said bakery, the same man who secretly clips every magazine mention, no matter how small.”
“It’s for some side work.” Sam wasn’t proud of his petulant tone, but he thought it could possibly be interpreted as sarcasm.
“Such as? Hiring a hitman?” Bucky smiled one of his crooked, teasing smiles at Sam before ducking into the warmth of his neck and peppering kisses along his throat. “Come on, if you don’t want to play along, just ask.”
