Life‘s been awfully quite those Last weeks. I‘m currently working part-time in a Bookstore… in my free time I just binge watch Gilmore Girls and try to keep my household running.
Today I received my Diploma… I can now officialy call myself „Magistra Theologiae“ which is very weird. I can‘t believe I‘ve finished my studies. It feels so surreal…

The last 3 weeks have been a real rollercoaster. I made some serious progress with my current paper - still one month behind my original schedule. But today I finally saw my result for the last paper: I got a straight A (or 1,0 in the German grading system...) I’m beyond relieved and happy, after all it put me through. At least the half year I invested in it payed off.
My current paper already made me cry thrice. I just don’t have any motivation to write it because I have no idea what I’m going to do after graduation. It’s so frustrating. At least I applied for a job today. It’s not going to start before the new year and I honestly don’t think I’ll get it... but I just wanted to „do“ something regarding my future.

I had a semi-productive weekend. As my boyfriend needed to prepare for a workshop that he is giving this morning I did most of the household by myself. That’s no big deal because I like doing housework in general and even get some fun and relaxation from it. I also helped him optimise his presentation which was fun.
I managed to finish almost all of my reading for this week though and worked 2h yesterday evening for my student job.
(I’m more and more unsatisfied with the aesthetic of my stationary and university related stuff... I did a great job streamlining it in shades of pink ... but after seeing so much amazing content in dark academia colours ... I would prefer to have more shades of brown and black...)

Had some pretty screen-intensive days this week. Uni starting, having a job that I do remotely and doing a 100% digital internship is not the best for my poor eyes I guess.
As the weather is good at the moment I decided to work outside in the park whenever possible... I miss having a big garden but well ... that’ll do for now.

A thing or two I learned those last years:
Making lists is imperativ for staying on top of work and ticking off the tasks always gives an extra boost of motivation
The same goes for daily planning and scheduling
BUT don’t stress yourself out if you can’t manage to stick to it. Life just happens sometimes!
If you REALLY don’t feel like studying and being productive - don’t force yourself. Start with an easy task, see if it can put you in a study-mood; if not binge watch your favorite TV-Show, and try again!
Never give up! You’ll have some rough times eventually, there will be this one bad grade in an exam you thought you prepared well, don’t define yourself by that! You’ll grow with every failure and you’ll be fine!

Still proofreading my paper. Who else gets so caught up in their thoughts while writing that sentences end up being totally nonsensical?! Anyone?
Today my last semester started. As I’m done with my curriculum, I don’t necessarily need to go to classes anymore; but I’m so genuinely interested in theology and my faculty was offering so many great seminars... I signed up for four additional courses. Plus I’m doing an extra program on sustainability. Hopefully I still manage to write my last paper and my thesis in time.
05/03/21 | 5/30 days of productivity
Today was okay-ish.
For my student job I attended the second block of a conference and afterwards my bf and I travelled to my home town. (With a short visit to Baden-Wurttemberg’s oldest town it took us 6,5h from door to door...)
I read some good articles in a German Theology magazine on the ride, I think it’s so important to stay informed nowadays and to read different theological opinions. Keeps me from getting too one sided which is always a danger when it comes to believe related things....
