How to Support Small Businesses During COVID-19
We have all been affected by COVID-19 in some capacity. Whether it be losing a job, having to take school online or if you’ve known someone who is currently fighting the virus.
If you’re a small business you’ve felt the impact of this pandemic more than big corporations and that’s why The Partnership wants to encourage people to help small businesses in whatever way they can.
Below you can see ways in which you can lend your support while practicing social distancing.
• You can continue to buy merchandise online
- Many businesses that already had a merchandise platform on their websites are still offering delivery, many times with free delivery to customers.
• Donate to a GoFundMe account
- Consider giving to places you frequent and trust if you see them soliciting support from the local community.
• Don’t automatically assume your favorite spots are closed
- Call your favorite local spots or check their websites to see if they’re still open. Many offer payment by phone or online.
