I used a straw, BB pellet and then plasticard cut to shape oh and some electrical wire. (1/24 scale) 'When one door closes...' Just doing a little bit of reading... This is a tiny book I've made that sits on the corner table open on two pages that says 'The next chapter'. My thinking is that when a door closes in life it must be seen as the turning of a page, a new opportunity and low and behold a door opens before you... On the closed door I've included a little 'do not disturb sign' I mean you don't want to walk in to the past do you?
