this look of fondness grabbed me by the throat and i knew i had to paint it. if anyone can knock some sense into robby, i think abbot could. but robby's gotta play ball too. i had a brief wobble with robby's face because he has a less common setup (long and thin) from what i've painted but other than that, this was really a joy to work on and it went much quicker than usual. not needing to make any decisions surely helped too though 😂

i did waffle a bit because this expression doesn't match the tone of where the conversation ended up, and i wanted to capture the fondness and not the pained smile of avoidance he's giving abbot later on. but i couldn't resist painting the small moment of sweetness
