This month I'll pick up where I left off my project The Potionist Apprentice!
I did some changes to the character controller so it now uses a finite state machine and resolved some issues I had when jumping/diving :D

This month I'll pick up where I left off my project The Potionist Apprentice!
I did some changes to the character controller so it now uses a finite state machine and resolved some issues I had when jumping/diving :D
The Apprentice can now catch critters!!
I still have to tweak the settings a bit but I like how it is turning out. Also, I finally added a script so that objects between the camera and the player fade.
The house now has a basement! Today I did the script to change rooms and added some post processing to make the colors more vibrant Soon I will start modifying the potion making scripts.
I added some more expressions to the Apprentice and can now use them while in dialogue.
Also, meet the Master Potionist! 🧙♂️🍵
(The dialogue text is just for testing and I know, I know I should make a new scene already 😅)
Finished the design for the inventory UI and started the quest UI (still not convinced with it but maybe tomorrow I'll have a better idea on how I want it to look like).
The new model for The Apprentice.
And finally, the new design for The Master Tamer.
Now I plan to animate the four characters and do some critters and plants.
Made changes to the dialogue system and now it runs smoother And... because I have no way of showing today's progress, here's an image of the player's familiar.
