"How much can your tail lift?" She asked, sunset eyes watching his tail flicking around.
"Well, I can pick up a full-grown man with it, and I've been able to balance my entire weight on it before. I'm not entirely sure about the specifics, though."

((Okay, Kurt's comics!
First, he's had a new solo series out that's ending next month, appropriately titled Nightcrawler. You can check out Marvel.com or comixology for back-issues, or you can ask your local comic book store to help you track them down. Last year, he had a spotlight in Amazing X-Men with "The Search for Nightcrawler". He's featured a fair amount since that ended. In my opinion, "The Search for Nightcrawler" was not that great. I personally wasn't a fan of how he was brought back from the dead, or how the delicate matter of real people's faith was handled, but it still exists. I just ignore it for my canon (which is convenient since my Kurt hasn't died). The current issues of Amazing X-Men have him (and everyone else) acting incredibly OOC. Nightcrawler has only really picked up recently. It was something of a disappointment for most of its run, with bright spots interspersed throughout.
My favorite title, which also happens to feature Kurt pretty heavily, is Excalibur. I'd recommend it to everyone just because I love it so much and it's really just great all around. For the most part, it's light-hearted and funny, but it involves some really good story lines. Doesn't hurt that it was largely written by Christ Claremont and a good portion of it was drawn by Alan Davis. It's older, but it is absolutely fantastic, and if you've never been introduced to characters like Meggan Puceanu or Brian Braddock, it will make you fall in love with them. It also largely features Kitty Pryde and Lockheed, which is always great, and Rachel Grey/Summers. Then, later on, you get characters like Moira MacTaggert and Wolfsbane (I absolutely adore their mother-daughter relationship).
The Nightcrawler 2004 series was pretty good. Very intense. I think I read all 12 issues in one day. I couldn't put it down.
The original 4-part Nightcrawler miniseries which was written and drawn by Kurt's creator Dave Cockrum (the man he shares a birthday with) is also highly recommended. It's fun, adventurous, and hilarious. It is one of my favorite things. I'm fairly certain I laughed out loud a good many times while reading it.
I also particularly liked Kurt's spotlight in Manifest Destiny: Nightcrawler. The art is fantastic towards the end, and let's face it, every Nightcrawler fangirl dreams of being Mara Keller.
I'm missing a ton of good, important books for him, I know, but these are some of my favorites. As for ones I would not recommend, I'd go with Chuck Austen's "The Draco" arc (yet another thing this blog does not recognize in Kurt's backstory) and the whole Church of Humanity thing. I can't think of which title that was in, but it's pretty terrible and tries to make our lovable elf into a brooding, dark character.
Oh, and if you enjoyed X-Men: Evolution, there's actually a comic series for that, too. I haven't read it, but it's been on my list forever. TV shows which feature the Fuzzy One are X-Men: Evolution, Wolverine and the X-Men, 2 episodes of X-Men: The Animated Series, the only episode of Pryde of the X-Men (also, there's an Australian Wolverine), and 1 episode of Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends (with yet another Australian Wolverine). If you want to laugh a lot, watch that last one.
I'd also recommend the comic series Exiles, which features the alternate-universe daughter of Nightcrawler and the Scarlet Witch, Nocturne (The WATX cartoon features some ScarletCrawler goodness, and an issue of Excalibur has them flirting, if you like the ship). She's pretty amazing, but so are her teammates on the Exiles.
Happy reading!))
1 and 2 of the detailed headcannons meme?
1: What does their bedroom look like?
Oooohhh!! Okay, okay.
So, Lucifer's bedroom is generally clean when it comes to desks, table tops, and shelves, but his floor is a little more... cluttered. Whether or not his bed is made depends on if someone is visiting. His walls are this general dark, almost midnight blue with white splatters everywhere and a few feathers that he painted on there, himself. He has started a small painting in one corner of the room, but it's not on like a canvas set upon an easel or anything. It's on the wall. He's painting what his version of Heaven looks like. The floor of his bedroom is made up of black carpet, and his bed is a king size. The comforter set for his bed is black with blue splatters on it.
2: Do they have any daily rituals?
Actually, yes! Every morning, when he gets up, Lucifer puts on music to listen to while he gets dressed. Next, he brushes his teeth and stuff. Then, he goes down to get breakfast. If no one's made breakfast yet, he makes it himself and often refuses to share with most of the younger siblings. Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel always get breakfast when he cooks.
Oh, um... In case this wasn't clear, I was talking about the human verse for both of these. U v U I love my human verse.

Gabriel's bleeding and bruised not as easy to kill him but he was likely to pass out giving anybody a shot to finish him that's why he barely notices when he blacks out at your feet.

Frowning at no in particular (but moreso himself, because honestly, who gets themselves this lost?), Jack's head whipped from side to side silently, finally coming to the realization that he was, for the first time in a long time, lost. Sure, he'd gotten lost many time before-- but that was back when he was new to his abilities. And if he said so himself he had gotten wayyy better. Like. Ridiculously better. This time though..? It felt different. Where he was was just.. different. And it really didn't sit well with him.
"... Helllooo?" He called out.
