@thepunnybones // Continuation from here.
He was having such a good day until this—
❝ SANS, YOU ARE KILLING ME. I FEEL LIKE I HAVE LESS HP THAT I DID BEFORE. STOP. ❞
MY BROTHER IS THE BEST BIG BROTHER! :D HE TOOK SO MUCH GOOD CARE OF ME!
@reclaimedasset @thepunnybones
Was that Sans? He seemed to be wearing something odd. Maybe Asgore dressed him? But... His bones were a different color? Maybe he had mascara on and it got all over him in a shower? Possibly. Maybe he was wearing a costume! That’s it! A costume! Strawberry bounded over to the skeleton monster, a smile on her face.
“Hello, King Sans! How has your day been going so far? I hope it’s good!” She giggled, looking towards him. Wow, he really changed! She could see all the little thing here and there up close.
@thepunnybones
Seeing an alternative of himself, it made him wonder how his story turned out to be in that universe, in that timeline. Avaro always enjoyed a good story yet would never push to it. Single functional eyelight stared at the other and smiled faintly.
❝ * partner ye’ don’t look miserable. ❞ Words that were meant as a compliment didn’t quite sound like it—he couldn’t be blamed, he tried to make it sound as nice as he could.
“So, you want to Prepare for Trouble, or should I just Make it Double? I’m still working out the kinks here.”
@thepunnybones
Sleep was heavily paved on your face. You were lucky that your eyes were able to stay open, let alone the fact that you were still able to do basic motor functions. Well, that was a bit of an exaggeration, but you certainly felt like you shouldn’t be able to. Maybe a little nap after you take all this paperwork back upstairs will do you some good?
You tilted your head off to the side, and with a disgruntled huff, you heaved the unnecessarily large stack of papers into your arms. Why take just a few at a time? That would be smart, sure, but not time efficient! And you just wanted sleep.
The whir of the elevator wasn’t doing your exhaustion any favors, but you held it out until it made a loud ding, implying you’ve reached the... uh, presentable portion of the Lab, as you called it. Stepping out, you would make your trek to your desk, but fate had other plans for you, in the form of a visitor! Which would have been great, if you hadn’t ran into them, easily sending your stack flying.
“O-oh no, no, no---”
You managed, like that would stop the papers spilling from your arms at all. Alas, there they go...
You don’t even manage to look at your visitor, both from shame and annoyance (at the papers and yourself, of course), as you’re on the floor trying to scoop the papers back up into a significantly messier pile.
“I’m s-so, so, so sorry, I-I didn’t...” You began, before trailing off into soft mutters of degradation.
@thepunnybones
Your timeline was quite the popular one, wasn’t it? You didn’t want it to be. You kind of just wanted to be left alone. Was that too much to ask for? Hadn’t you been through enough?
You supposed the only good thing about this was the fact that you were the one dealing with it, instead of, say, Chara or Frisk. They didn’t need to be here to find these... other you’s. Surely you were enough of a disappointment to go around.
Still, when you find this other “you” on the old battlefield you patrolled? Something was wrong. Off. Something...

You made a garbled whine and tossed your hands over your eyes as the code in front of you contorted through letters and flashed with defected code.
“You are quite literally an eyesore, buddy,” you managed through your hiss of pain. “Don’t you have better places to be?”
