More serious answer (because I am dumb and literal-minded), I like the comparison, because I think it highlights that Greg is pretty far from a perfect human specimen, but what he lacks in physical perfection, he more than makes up for in heart and soul, and I think that’s why Rose likes him. Because he is unintentionally a perfect representative of humanity at their best and most average.

But that might just be me Stanning for my favorite human character in Steven Universe >_>
