It was typical really. A Halloween Party when there was an on-going murder spree. The Scarehouse. That was the latest party and her and her twin sister Katherine were already there. Elena and Katherine didn't exactly get along, but then again, they were twins and they looked exactly alike. Whereas Elena's personality was more selfless, Katherine was as selfish as they came often making the twins butt heads.
This was such a bad idea overall.. --- either they would butt heads again or something more dangerous would be at hand; she should have known. If it wasn't for her trailing the darkened figure through the home from the side of the house, she ended up back outside again as she approached the window to one of the bedrooms. The figure had lured someone out there and she was eager to follow. Curiosity getting to her.
She had no other choice but to follow, to go out there; using one excuse on her way past her friends. That she was helping out with kegs and alcohol from the truck and joined a few that headed out there. The dark figure came into view again and she followed, this time taking out her cell and clicking for the flashlight to glow from the back of her cell. Why couldn't she see his face?
Elena's bottom lip quivered as she stared, the beam from the flashlight casted over the black cloaked figure causing a shadow along the moonlit ground. Searching, for him. Elena was surprised when it gave up because even she knew that a killers senses were somewhat heightened that they would be able to track whatever they were after due to their determination. As if it had disappeared into the night she finally stood forward into view as the light shone on her face; highlighting her features as her long eyelashes bat repeatedly as her hand outstretches shielding her face for a second.
Tilting her head on its side she stared his face coming into recognition "M..Matt..?" she stammered but before she could say any more a blood curdling scream rang out causing her to shift into his frame. Elena wasn't going to let on that she was stronger than she looked, that this didn't scare her as she huddled up into his chest, the screaming came to a stop and once again she stepped out of the shadows. Why had she even agreed to go outside and help with the beer kegs? not like she could lift them and not like she was coming out here for that anyway.
Elena had always wanted to help out. But back in thought, they were out here with something far more dangerous. They had to at least try make it back and warn everyone at the party that something was out here and it was going to kill them ---though the proof hadn't been given to them yet, they didn't know where the scream had come from. @thequeenofhcll
