Steve woke with a numbing headache. He lay on a cold, hard floor and stared up at was seemed to be pure gold, but it was hard to tell until the blur faded from his vision. He sat up hesitantly, rubbing his pounding head. 

Looking around he saw exactly what he thought he had. He found himself in a circular room, seemingly made the pure gold. The ceiling was high and echoed his footsteps when he finally reached his feet.

Too many questions swirled in his aching mind for him to focus and stumbled in a circle, starring in aw of his grand surroundings. A part of him wondered if he had died and this was heaven. Whatever it was, he had to find out.

A single hallway lead out of the room, its marvelous and arching architecture slightly memorizing. "wow" he whispered to himself, and even the softest of murmurs echoed through the hall. He traveled through hallway after beautiful hall until he reach a massive door. "pushing the door open he reached a room so gorgeous it matched the rest of the stunning maze he walked though. "Hello?" he called, his voice ringing like church bells.
