All are welcome in the raindancer's parade. ----------------------------------------------------- Ahem, ladies, gentlemen, and unassociated vendors hi !! I'm RAINBOW, aka THE Rainbow Luxe, and I'm here to bring joy, creativity, and wonder to the world in my own colorful way. From daily drawing processes, to making my characters in every creator possible, writing drabbles and crafting creatures out of felt, I'm looking to help and inspire every day in every way. Ok I know it's been a long while BUT, I did not stop canvasing and am going to take the next couple of days to catch up to where I'm at so expect MANY more posts !! :D So, this is from day 8, a little bit of a fanart doodle of @irllylikeclownsalot 's gemsona gems !! Fable is such a cool looking character(and Clownie an awesome person), so I had to get an homage to them on the canvas >:)

grabbing colors + testing ones I hadn't used before

looking back on the sketches for this, I really changed a LOT when I actually inked it in lmao

coloring / inking are always my favorite part ESPECIALLY on something like this. I haven't physically colored in anything in soooo long it's just so satisfying

last touches and that's it! This was a fun little exercise, I really find hats difficult + hardly ever draw them so this was good practice for myself too. All in all, glad I did it, it's one of my favorites on there to this day Thank you all for reading / looking, and stay creative :)

my first time using acrylic markers a couple days ago, I've been doodling on this canvas every day and recording my progress and figured it was high time I shared !! Progress pics + thoughts below

So, of course we need our materials being the canvas + our color choice of the acrylics. my first thought naturally was to draw a rainbow in the corner, which was supposed to be MUCH smaller originally lol. (i also made sure to open my window for some natural light which actually prompted me to put up my new curtains finally lmao)

After the color test, which turned out beautiful, I went ahead and sketched out the lines. fairly simple idea, just needed guides which I erased with the only thing I could find(a mechanical pencil eraser lmao)

Next I colored like a madwoman for like an hour at least, and we got our rainbow starting corner !! Later I also colored down the sides of the canvas, which I don't have a separate photo of but you'll see in future posts. A lot of time in-between long sessions I come back through and adjust previous stuff And that's it for now! I haven't done traditional ANYTHING in so long and it's sooo satisfying being the one getting to do the coloring with these pens, you think watching it on YT is good nuh-uh do it yourself it's much better stay creative and i'll be back tomorrow to put up the progress from canvas day 2
