Why did he sit like this a few years after the breakup (around the early 1960s)? There are so many photos where he looks like… I don't know, he looks like a young virgin nun just out of the convent. A man should sit with his legs wide apart (or wide enough), because it's seductive and attractive to the opposite sex! Not to mention the Dean Martin Show! And why had his legs gotten so skinny?

I spotted another native fruit vine the other day, so all my efforts to hack back and kill off the invasive bushes have had results (even though there's still a lot of progress to be made).

#there are TWO #which means they might set out fruit actually now that I think about it #it's just like #it's been so overwhelming that it feels like I haven't done anything #because there's still so much left #if you looked you'd have no idea how much I've cleared out #but I /have/ gotten rid of some of it #and that DID make room for the native species to reclaim their space #and I'll put some more stuff in this Fall #and then next Spring #it's taken awhile but there IS progress
