Something about painting Sirius brought out the chaos gremlin in me. Partner came down and saw me hunched over the coffee table like Gollum, surrounded by various... art... detritus, blasting Kate Bush, and just asked where my pants were. Like idk man, they were impeding the creative process so over there somewhere maybe? It was hot and I can't anything when I'm hot so I fixed it.

I had my drinking water and my paint water next to each other in identical cups because I apparently like to live dangerously. Did not mix them up so that was a resounding success. I also had a cup of tea steeping that I forgot about because Hyperfocus Brain Go Brrrrrr.

Me: I'm going to finish this chapter tonight

lots of people are asking where I think that Gotham is located, so i’m officially doing a deep dive to defend my honor

(OR: i’m bored and, after taking a long nap, decided I will officially place Gotham in where I think it is, and then immediately gave up and went to go take another nap)

So first of all, yes, typically Gotham is set in New Jersey! However, i personally don’t really see Gotham being in the US just because of the different canon british accents and Gotham in general giving UK

So I looked it up (woah research) and i found out that, in the making of Gotham, the creators mixed up New Jersey, London, NY, and Chicago??? sooo lots of US States but trust the process

there is no process i just refuse to acknowledge that gotham is in the US lol

i’ll try to make more of my posts to just not acknowledge where gotham is, as lots of people were confused lol so yeah whoopsies
