Me waiting patiently to see what happened in ch.20
Weird that some Elriels and Gwynriels pit Elain and Gwyn against each other when the problem is obviously Azriel🤷♀️
Grantaire, smirking: Just don't fall in love with me Apollo.
Enjolras, scuffing: no problem
-a week later-
Combeferre, answering the phone at 3am: Enjolras?
Enjolras: THERES A PROBLEM
I know that their families don’t like each other and they have a huge feud. But I want to have a conversation with Pran’s mom. She really wasn’t going to let Pat just give her son documents that he needed for a school-related thing?
It was DOCUMENTS. Dear god, how bad is she going to be when she finds out that Pat and Pran are in love?
I just want to grab her by the shoulders, shake her, and tell her not to take her frustrations with the parents out on the children. What the hell is wrong with them.
incorrect quotes and texting/social media aus should be illegal
Ren, jokingly: "You're not allowed to fall in love with me."
Akechi, seriously: "Won't be a problem."
Akechi, after a week: "T H E R E S A P R O B L E M"
I can’t believe I spent the whole 365 days of 2018 listening to emo rap??? Half for the music, half for the sociology.
And Hella Sketchy died form an overdose???
Sorry I have to be Russ2 and point the finger at a culture that targeted an under 16 audience with a drug addled depressive message.
Absolutely art is meant to express who you are and if you’re fucked up don’t hide it, people will listen because they relate and not necessarily be innocent sheep who copy what they hear. I still think the lyrics here are problematic . So a harmless suburbs kid with a huge talent for making beats started integrating that message at 14. His lyrics were downright humoristic, but since he passed, he acted on it.
And it’s all gucci (obv not) for all the people who have been through the wringer and are trying to be sober now, but what message are you sending the youth?
If it was truthful about use, like punk is, I don’t see a problem. But when you dumb it down for teens, it makes it seem cool and appealing.
