Collected from the past. So innocent, so beautiful.
Even in the fanarts by classical CV fans vs many of those fuckflix gen z fans, the difference is striking as is the fine line between the two groups.
Of all the cosplays we saw of Alucard so far, this man did the best Alucard portrayal. He and his wife along with his parents all cosplayed Cv Sotn cosplay in 2015. Simply the best. 💯
One thing we like is when guys play guys and girls play girls. It is more natural and suited that way.
We donot like it when girls dress up as guy characters or guys dress up as girl characters, it's a turn off. It doesn't suit either or capture real essence.
For those who wonder if Alucard and Maria were canon or not, you will not find the answer on wiki fandom. The fandom contains lots of wrong information on plenty of things and some stuff totally missing.
💢 To see their relationship, fans have to hear radio drama Nocturne of Recollection. It's a sequal to Sotn. It was initially only released in Japan.
At a point of the story, Alucard’s butler Lyudmill asks him if he wants to learn to make white flower garlands to give to girls which Lyudmill himself used to do in his village to woo girls. Alucard was very young then ( it was before Dracula's death ) and didnot understand Lyudmill's wingmanship. When Lyudmill asked Alucard the meaning behind the white flowers and why they were Lisa's favourite, Alucard couldnot answer. Lisa didnot tell him the meaning of those flowers. Then Lyudmill gave him explanation. He said, These flowers were Lisa's favourite because of their meaning and it was also why Dracula used to give her the white flowers.
In Romanian tradition when people have a festival Drago Bete in February, men make white flower garlands ( like how Lyudmill mentioned) and put the garlands on the heads of their women as a show of love.
Check out " Drago Bete " on Google to find out. ✅
At the end of the story, Alucard and Maria are infront of same white flowers; Alucard picks up some flowers and gives to Maria. He also wants to give Maria a white flower garland to express his unspoken love but because he cannot make one, he remembers the time when Lyudmill told him to learn making garlands and he said 'no' which was a mistake and that he should have learned it. The servant was his big wingman teaching him how to impress girls which this dumbass realized much later.
Due to being close to Lisa in the past, Lyudmill was protective of young Alucard and equally respectful as a servant.
In radio drama, we also see Richter is very supportive of Maria's relationship with the dhamphir from sotn to Radio drama, sees Maria as a loving little sister and scolds Alucard for misbehaving with Maria.
In the end, Alucard also is seen to care for Maria and gradually open up with his feelings. He asks her " why is she staying with him and she says something along the lines " because Alucard needs me ". Etc. Alucard accepts himself as human and her annoying nature. 🤣
💢Comic page and Radio drama provided below plus final chapter of Radio drama with English subtitle. Radio nocturne is Canon by Konami in 2008 and it confirms Mariacard as official ✅
