My first repost in 2019, and I couldn’t be more elated to share this gorgeous @nathalie_wanders in #thereddresstravels in one of my favorite cities. Her images are topped with the most beautiful words. Courtesy: Most of you know, I like to take my pictures at sunrise 🌅. This picture is no exception! But this one was more tricky than usual! I wanted the sun 🌞 to come out from one of the arches! I didn’t know if it will even work out! I still checked the sun’s trajectory 💫 on a app and sent a prayer 🙏🏻 haha! When it did, I ran in front of the camera and started to take pictures 🤩! It didn’t even last 3 minutes but it was so beautiful 😍 and worth it! 💃🏻✨ ::::: The Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel is a triumphal arch ⛩ in Paris, located in the Place du Carrousel. It is an example of Corinthian style architecture 🏛. Its purpose was to commemorate Napoleon's military victories. It was built between 1806 and 1808 as a gateway of the Tuileries Palace, the Imperial residence 🏰. The destruction of the Tuileries Palace allowed an unobstructed west view towards the Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile, at the far end of the Champs Élysées. On my picture 🖼, we're facing the east (mandatory in order to catch the sunrise haha) and you can see The Louvre Museum in the background! 🇫🇷💖 ::::: (at Arc de Triomphe) https://www.instagram.com/p/BsZtMZMDpXO/?igshid=1ay4ag5obvgxf
